On April 16, 2022, New York Bodhi Meditation Center embraced the compassionate teachings of the Grandmaster and stepped into the community to spread love!

The theme of this event was parent-child interaction, and many Chinese families enthusiastically participated. The organizers stated that at least 5,000 to 6,000 community members attended the event.

The Bodhi Meditation booth radiated like a warm sun, conveying Grandmaster’s compassion and great love to the public. The bright smiles and gentle words of the fellow practitioners allowed the community guests to feel the warmth and kindness of our Bodhi family!

Even before the event officially began, the Bodhi Meditation booth had already formed a line of people.

There were children’s games, artistic performances, handicraft workshops, and community consultations on-site. The New York Bodhi Meditation booth was also bustling, providing candies and bunny-shaped cookies for the children.

The most popular attraction for children was the on-site DIY magic balloon art created by fellow practitioners with love and creativity. The children were overjoyed and eagerly awaited their turn.

The children who received the balloons were so happy!

While waiting for the balloons, fellow practitioners introduced Bodhi Meditation to parents and showcased Grandmaster JinBodhi’s YouTube channel.

The children patiently waited for their balloons, while mothers had the chance to learn about Bodhi Meditation’s courses and activities.

Fellow practitioners introduced Bodhi Meditation’s courses and activities, welcoming everyone to participate in the meditation center.

A young mother showed a keen interest in meditation.

Sister Shou Ji expressed, “I am so happy to step into the community to introduce Bodhi Meditation to the public. When someone stops and listens attentively as we introduce Bodhi Meditation to her, my heart is filled with joy. I genuinely hope that they all can come and experience meditation, benefiting from Grandmaster’s teachings!”

Sister Ma Mi said, “It’s my first time participating in such an outdoor event, and I’m excited and looking forward to it. Our group of volunteers, men and women of all ages, set up the booth early. Our team spans ages from twenties to seventies, and everyone is energetic. When we saw more people than expected, we were able to adapt quickly. What touched me and taught me the most was the unity of our team members, coordinating, encouraging, and helping each other. I deeply feel that I am no longer just an individual, but a part of Bodhi Meditation!”

70-year-old Sister Kun Xing walked back and forth among the crowd throughout the event, without resting for several hours. Although her body was a bit tired, she said she felt joyful and happy inside.

Chi Wen said, “In this event, I learned a lot and saw everyone wholeheartedly practicing Grandmaster’s teachings of compassion, which deeply moved me. I am grateful for this warm Bodhi family, which has allowed me to transition from a small individual to a part of a bigger family. My heart has expanded, and my perspective has broadened. I am grateful to the Grandmaster for giving us the opportunity to benefit from the Dharma, to experience compassion, to offer love, and to create positive connections!”
