How Our New York Meditation Retreats Work
In our meditation retreats, you will practice meditation methods and techniques taught by Grandmaster JinBodhi.
These comprehensive, dynamic guided meditation methods are perfect for beginners and use visualization, hand-forms (mudras), mantras, and meditative motions to quickly replenish energy and vitality, strengthen one’s immunity, and promote health.

These simple meditation techniques improve our physical and mental health. Afflictions and illnesses dissolve naturally.
We welcome different levels of students, from first-timers, beginners to regular practitioners. In our multi-day retreats, you will also meet like-minded people with whom you can share your meditative experiences
This is an opportunity to ask questions and discuss your needs and concerns with us. Personal guidance and instructions from our well-trained teachers walk you through how to meditate and stay focused

Location & Transportation:
Our center is located near downtown Flushing, one block away from Main Street.
• Public Transportation options:
NYC Subway: Take the 7 Train to the Flushing-Main Street Station. Exit at Main Street and Roosevelt Avenue in Downtown Flushing, Queens. Our center is a 7-minute walk.
Bus: There are many bus stops nearby. Please refer to the bus routes most convenient to you for details.
Railroad: Flushing Main Street is a station on the Port Washington Branch of the Long Island Rail Road, serving the neighborhood of Flushing, Queens.
• Driving:
If you are driving, there is metered parking available near our Center. Street parking is free on Sunday. There are also paid parking lots within a 10-min walk.
Meals:
We have a dining area on the second floor. We serve tea, coffee, snacks and light meals for students, helping them to boost their energy and feel refreshed.
During our multi-day retreats, we offer complimentary vegetarian lunch.

I was worried and a little depressed. At home, I wasn’t doing anything because I had no energy. I didn’t want to talk to anyone.
During the meditation retreat in New York, after Grandmaster’s Energy Blessing, I was able to lift my arm without any pain. Before that, I could only raise my hand to around 90 degrees. Now, I can fully raise my arm above my head without pain!
Despite my prescribed knee braces and lubricant injections, the pain persisted. I even went for physiotherapy sessions, but my condition remained the same.
Eventually, my muscles began to atrophy; my left leg became much thinner than the right.

On the very first few days of the meditation retreat, I had to hold onto the rail while climbing the stairs, step by step. On the 4th or 5th day, I could effortlessly go up and down the stairs! I haven’t needed my braces since then!

My concentration deteriorated and overtime I became extremely inefficient at work.
During the day, I couldn’t keep my eyes open. Sometimes, I found myself losing my voice halfway while speaking to colleagues. I had difficulty catching what they’re saying. An afternoon nap was vital for me to stay alert at work.
After learning Energy Bagua online and practicing it at home for a month, I noticed that my concentration, productivity and performance at work has greatly improved. During work time, I do not need to take an afternoon nap anymore and I still feel so energetic throughout the day!
